Large scale painting with bold textures and colors is Sheryl’s passion and primary medium. Sheryl was convinced of her calling to be an artist as an exchange student studying architecture during a magical summer in Paris. She has since been further inspired by the desert landscapes of Palm Springs during her many visits there. Sheryl was awarded a BA in Graphic design from the University of Milwaukee-Wisconsin in 1996. She has an extensive background in art direction, design and layout and has been a contributing artist to the Heartland Alliance Art of Human Rights project.Sheryl is constantly innovating new techniques using a variety of materials to incorporate the different textures into her work. The passion and care she pours into her art are what move her and she hopes you will be moved as well.
